Google is offering a promo lasting from March 17 to March 31 that gives $50 of Google Play credit to anyone who buys a Nexus 6, Nexus 9 or Android Wear smartwatch. According to the report, the deal also includes free shipping, which is good.
If you think about it, $50 in Google Play credit is quite a lot, particularly if you’re just renting movies or purchasing apps. There is one caveat, however: Google Play credit from the offer has to be used by September 1, 2015. Past then, it’s no good.
While you may not be saving money on the device itself, this deal provides a good incentive to pick up a new device, particularly as all of the devices contained within the deal are great. You can’t go wrong with the Nexus 6, and though the Nexus 9 has a few flaws, it’s still a great tablet. As for Android Wear smartwatches, take your pick. There are several out there and one of them will likely fit the bill.
