Starting today, August 15, Taiwanese customers can get a Galaxy Note 5 32 GB for around $740, while the 64 GB model will be available towards the end of the month for around $820.
Reportedly, Samsung is launching the Note5 in Taiwan first because the Note series has always been very popular there, with nearly 2 million units sold since the first model was released back in 2011. While that's not a huge number on a global scale, it is impressive considering the fact that Taiwan is a small country (smaller than New York - the state, not the city) with a population of about 23 million.
