Sony just unveiled its most ambitious smartphone project to date - a complete Xperia Z5 portfolio, which includes a 4.6" Z5 Compact, a 5.2" Z5, and a whopping 5.5" 4K Z5 Premium. The trio is outfitted with a fast Snapdragon 810 chipset and an exclusive 23 MP Exmor RS camera sensor that lets them focus record fast.

That's not all there is to those puppies, though, as they have an ergonomic fingerprint scanner fitted in the side power key, and are waterproof, not to mention the usual two-day battery life you can expect from most Sony phones now. How much for all that glory?

Well, the prices are yet to be announced, though it's hard to imagine anything much more than the usual $600-$700 range for the Z5, about a Benjamin less for the Z5 Compact, and $700+ for the Z5 Premium. Availability is a different story, though, as Sony announced that the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact will launch globally from October 2015, while the Xperia Z5 Premium can be bought from November 2015 onwards.

Both the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium will be available in versions with Dual SIM card slots, denoted simply as Z5 Dual and Z5 Premium Dual.
