Whatsapp web was made available for chrome users leaving firefox addicts in the cold. i happen to belong to the latter..... Here's an easy tutorial to enable whatsapp web on mozilla firefox.
1. Download the User Agent Overrider addon here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-overrider/
2. Go to it’s options in the Firefox Addons menu, then copy and paste
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/40.0.2214.94 Safari/537.36
3. Select Mozilla/5.0 from the list on the User Agent Overrider icon that appears besides the search bar.
