How To - Root Most Tecno Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Phones Without PC

* Goto Settings>Security and check/click “Unknown Sources“ ,

Enable USB Debugging on your phone Goto Settings > Applications > Development and tick/check USB debugging.

Note: Some android before you can see the development option you have to first Goto Settings=>About phone=> then below it tap/click on Build number like 10 Times to enable the development option comes up, after that go and tick the USB debugging.

*Next, you need to enable USB Debugging.

In other to do this, go to settings » Developer Option and select ‘USB Debugging‘.

Next, you need to download Framaroot 1.9.3 apk.

Steps

*After downloading,

i. Choose to install and after installation,
ii. Launch it.

1. Select SuperSU by tapping on it.
2. Select Boromir as exploit by also tapping on it.
3. After a while, you would be prompt to reboot your phone. Choose to reboot, your phone has been successfully rooted.

How To Confirm If Tecno Has Been Rooted

When reboot is complete, launch the menu options and you’d realize ‘SuperSU‘ has been automatically installed.

If that isn’t convincing enough, you can choose to install Root Checker App and if the device has been rooted, it will state ‘Rooted‘.
